iPhone vs. Blackberry

there are two types of people in this world: iPhone users and Blackberry users
iPhone users say iPhones have apps for anything and everything you would ever need. Blackberry users call their devices crackberries and gloat about their full keypad and blackberry messenger.
iPhone users believe the iPhone is the phone, and Blackberry users think the blackberry is it.
oh and then theres the rest of the of the people that don’t use the iPhone or the Blackberry – so i guess two and half types of people. i’m part of the “half” by the way, i don’t use either, and don’t plan on it.

“i don’t know…he’s a bb guy and i’m an iPhone girl, we’re just incompatible”

i just think it’s funny that in today’s culture, technology has become such a big part of our lives that being defined by our phones seems to sound legitimate. like someone may be called a “cat person” or a “dog person”. soon, you could be called a “Blackberry user” (bb-er?) or a “iPhone user” (iPeople?).

Running List Of Things I’m Absolutely Bad At…

1. Directions
i’m completely hopeless when it comes to a sense of direction and i get lost on a frequent basis. let’s not get into the details, that’ll just get humiliating.
2. Numbers
me and math…we don’t quite get along. i look back and wonder how i managed to survive so many years of math.
3. Cooking
you know how some people have knack for things? not only do i not have a knack for cooking…i think i’ve inherited my mom’s genes at being horrible at it. i have a record of how many people have tried to teach me how to cook and have given up rather quickly. that’s how bad i am.
4. Left/Right
when i’m not sitting in front of the piano i get my left and right mixed up. don’t ask me how i manage to do that.
5. Technology
okay so i know how to use technology – mp3s, dvds, computers, cellphones. but i’m equally as good with breaking them. and i have no clue how to fix anything. usually i don’t know what’s wrong with it, except that it’s not working properly.

but i’ve gotta say i’m pretty good at hiding this list of mine. most people don’t think i’m completely hopeless.
